Description
New, old stock Springfield Armory Early Small Open Arrow Checkered LockBar Windage Knob. This is the earliest windage knob known. I talked to Paul "Bubba" Goedde and Larry Babcock both about this knob. Larry agreed with Paul on it being the earliest. Pauls best estimate on this knob was that it was correct for gas traps solidly thru the first 3500 and more likely the first 8000. From there there seems to be a mixture of this one and the checkered closed arrow type until about 10K. This is NOT a reproduction, it's the real thing!! Still in grease, it retains about 97% of its original finish and is in unused condition. Don't have many of these so get them while they last!! Will fit any Garand!
