I'm starting to sell some of my collection, here's another pretty nice Harrington and Richardson for your consideration. For this rifle to be completely correct you would need a Post War HRA stock. When I got it, it had a beat up replacement stock. I couldn't stand the look of it so I got a new Dupage Stock and Buttplate. The barrel is in extremely nice shape, the bore is shiny and bright with a TE of 1.25 and a ME of 1, that makes it New! I'm sure it's been fired, but with those numbers damn few rounds have been thought this barrel. Check out the picture of the breech that is shiny. The numbers all match for 10-54 and all parts are correct HRA right down to the Elevation Pinion and Windage Knob. The original finish is at 95% plus ( check out the pictures, they tell the story ). The op rod has a lug measuring .098 and a piston of .526 (Like New), the gas cylinder gauges New etc. If you're tired of the worn out Garands that are being offered out there, you might want to look seriously about this M1 and the others I'm putting up for sale. This will come to you as pictured with a new Sling!! I will need to send this to an FFL. Before you buy make sure your FFL will deal with a private party. Thanks
