Very good condition 1903 Springfield Bolt. This bolt is made up of all correct parts and retains 95% plus of it's new blue finish. It is coded J5 on bottom of the safety lug which is correct for 1903 Springfield Rifles built between June 1919 and June 1920. According to John Beard the J5 Bolts were the first of the swept back handle design and were used in the National Matches from 1919 thru 1924. Very nice complete bolt to help you restore your 1903. Correct for the 1903 but will also fit the 1903-A3. When ever replacing a bolt have the headspace checked by a competent gunsmith.
