Description
USGI Armorers punches for peening the screws on a number of US long arms. I bought a number of these with a large batch of Garand Parts and were told they were Garand tooling. I have since learned they have been around since the 1903 Springfield or before. This punch has a concave tip is used to peen the end of different screws after assembly there by keeping them from backing completely out. On the Garand it would be the stock ferrule screw, on the M1 Carbine the barrel band screw, Etc. New,in pack, these are USA made and are hardened.
